We have celebrated the Mission Sunday with the Holy Catholic Church on 23rd October with great vigor and zeal. He Apostolic Papal Nuncio for the African countries; Archbishop Dr. George Kochery was the Chief Guest here for their very auspicious day. He spoke at length about the mission activities in the African countries; especially in Zimbabwe where he is stationed and urged us to have the mission zeal always in our hearts. He celebrated the High Pontifical Mass of the day and exhorted the parents to take special care in the moral formation of their children citing the evil of AIDS and drugs in Africa.
Numerous activities were also conducted on that day o the encouragement for world Mission. The Catechetical department organized a food stall. All the proceedings from these activities were given o the Mission collection.
